"Appellate Court- A court that can review and reverse the judgment of a lower court.
Certified Question- A formal request by a lower court for the US Supreme Court to answer questions of federal law raised in the lower court.
Coram Nobis- A petition that asks a court to reconsider a case that may have been unlawfully judged.
Dissent- holding of opinions at variance with those previously, commonly, or officially held.
Executive Order- a rule or order issued by the president to an executive branch of the government and having the force of law.
United States District Court - A court that hears cases for federal crimes.
Writ of Certiorari- An order from a higher court to a lower court calling for the record of a case for review."
